Mentoring provides professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency and capability demanded by the desired credential level.
Mentor Coaching should take place over an extended time (three-month minimum) in a cycle that allows for listening and feedback from the Mentor Coach while also allowing reflection and practice on the part of the individual being mentored.
Mentor Coaching for an ICF Credential consists of coaching and feedback in a collaborative, appreciative and dialogued process based on an observed or recorded coaching session to increase the coach’s capability in coaching, in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies. A minimum of three of the 10 mentoring hours must be one-on-one with the mentor coach. Group mentoring may count for a maximum of seven hours towards the mentoring requirement. Only groups of 10 or fewer will count.
"Shanti has truly been an outstanding mentor coach. I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am for her remarkable guidance and support. Her genuine kindness, exceptional articulation of ideas, and profound wisdom displayed during our interactions have left a lasting impact on me. I have learned so much from her attentive listening skills, and these qualities have greatly influenced my own growth as a coach. The insightful questions she poses are not only enlightening but also highly practical, offering me valuable perspectives. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend Shanti as both a mentor coach and a coach. She has truly transformed me into a better version of myself, and I consider myself fortunate to have her as a guiding force in my journey."

"The journey with Shanti for my ACC credentials has been a fantastic experience. I would like to come back and work with her in my PCC journey too and several reasons why I say this, first the sincerity with which Shanti works with you is unparalleled. She is there every step of the way. Second her knowledge and network is vast, indepth and thorough. Third as a person she inspires me massively to be a better coach. I wish her much success growing satori as grow with satori grows us!."
